Sudan's PM Arrives in Addis Ababa

Sudan’s Prime Minister (PM) Abdallah Hamdok arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa for a two-day official visit, according to Sputnik news agency.

During his visit, Hamdok will meet with a number of Ethiopian senior officials to discuss several humanitarian, economic, political, and security files of common interest.

They will also tackle ways to strengthen bilateral ties, in a way that serves the security and stability of the two countries.

Hamdok is accompanied by a delegation consisting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Omar Qamar al-Din, Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Jamal Abdul Majeed, Deputy Chief of Staff Gen. Khalid Abdeen Al-Shami, and head of the Military Intelligence Authority, Major General Raken Yasser Muhammad Othman.

It is worth mentioning that mutual visits between Sudanese and Ethiopian officials have continued in recent months at a high level.

In late August, the Ethiopian Prime Minister visited Sudan, and on November 1, the head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council visited Ethiopia.
