JOHANNESBURG – Late Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu will be laid to rest on Thursday.
He passed away this week after battling lung cancer since 2018.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is among those who’ve praised Makwetu, saying he served his country with dedication, distinction, and great integrity.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday.
Due to COVID-19, it’ll be a private ceremony with a restriction on the number of people attending.
