Ivanka Trump shares 'fond memories' with PM Modi, says India-US friendship important

NEW DELHI: Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, took a trip down the memory lane from her India visit three years ago in November 2017.

In a Twitter post, the a senior advisor to the US president stressed on the importance of strong India-US friendship. She said that it can help in promoting global security, stability, and economic prosperity as the world continues to battle COVID-19.

“Fond memories from the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India with Prime Minister Narendra Modi 3 years ago,” the 39-year-old tweeted, alongside several pictures from the event with PM Modi.

Ivanka had led a high-powered US delegation to the Global Entrepreneur Summit in November 2017 in Hyderabad.

Trump’s last trip to India was in February wherein he addressed a historic rally with Prime Minister Modi in Ahmedabad. Ivanka had accompanied the president on his India trip.
