It is too early to give assessments whether the fight for Pashinyan’s resignation gave result or not as the fight is in process, Prosperous Armenia faction deputy Iveta Tonoyan said at a briefing today, adding that she is more than convinced that they will succeed in this work as there is no alternative to Pashinyan’s resignation.
She stressed that it is not only the agenda of the PAP, non-parliamentary forces, Catholicoses and other circles but the issue of country’s national security.
“We have told that after the loss of 75% of Artsakh territory Armenia’s territorial integrity, a number of settlements of Gegharkunik, Syunik provinces and the fates of their residents are endangered. Nikol Pashinyan cannot be the guarantor of Armenia’s security. The fight will continue in all the possible ways in the sidelines of law. All the tools will be used,” she said.
Tonoyan stressed that there is no other political agenda but Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation and formation of temporary government and conduction of snap elections.
Other PAP deputy Arman Abovyan said in his turn that the authorities understood that they have left de facto, the issue is to formulate it de jure.
