Imelda May to feature on Hot Press's 'Rave On, Van Morrison' tonight

Imelda May’s performance for Van Morrison’s 75th birthday celebration goes live at 7pm this evening.

Following a selection of stunning performances over the last two weeks, we’re thrilled to present Imelda May as our next act on ‘Rave On, Van Morrison’ – covering Van’s 1971 classic ‘Wild Night’.

Over the course of the YouTube event, celebrating Van Morrison’s 75th birthday, you can expect even more renditions of his remarkable songs from some of the most iconic names in the country – including President with Bill Whelan, Hozier, Sinéad O’Connor, Bob Geldof, Glen Hansard and Damien Dempsey, to name just a few.

Imelda May has secured her legendary status as a solo artist across five acclaimed albums – as well as through her work with a star-studded list of collaborators, including Jeff Beck, Loud Reed, Smokey Robinson and Tom Jones. Earlier this year, she explored a new side of her artistry with the release of her poetry EP, Slip Of The Tongue.
