MADRID, December 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, has described this Saturday as a “world record for diplomatic ridicule” the “virtual” appointment on the eve of James Story as US ambassador, in a ceremony not recognized by the Venezuelan government for understanding that it is a gesture towards the opposition leader Juan Guaidó.

Arreaza described this new action on his Twitter account as a “waste of imperialist obsession” and an “unusual chronicle of an announced failure.” Relations between the two countries are completely broken and Caracas habitually denounces attempts of North American interference in its national sovereignty.

In addition, Arreaza has included on his Twitter a joke from the Minister of Culture, Ernesto Villegas, at the expense of the ambassador’s surname, which he has attached to a manic cartoon of the protagonists of the animated film ‘Toy Story’.
