Russian leader Vladimir Putin dismissed Vladimir Burykin, Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation, from his post. Relevant decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
Recall that Burykin was appointed to this position on May 1, 2017.
Earlier, the president appointed Anatoly Yakunin deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service. It was also reported that he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general of the internal service.
Prior to that, Putin dismissed Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee Ilya Lazutov and Deputy Minister of Justice Denis Novak from their posts. The reason for the dismissal was not specified.
