Vladimir Putin does not want to be vaccinated against coronavirus with the Sputnik vaccine

The participation of Russian President as a volunteer for testing the Sputnik V vaccine is impossible.

This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

When asked why President has not yet been vaccinated against coronavirus, Peskov replied:

“I said that the president will inform himself when he considers it necessary.”

Peskov explained that the head of state cannot take part in the vaccination as a volunteer, “it is impossible.”

“The president cannot use an uncertified vaccine,” Peskov said.

According to Peskov, the Russian vaccine has not passed the third phase of testing and mass vaccination in the Russian Federation has not yet begun.

Note, despite assurances about the alleged effectiveness of the Sputnik V vaccine, people vaccinated with it continue to become infected with coronavirus infection.

We will remind, earlier it became known that the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V” was transferred to different countries, in particular, Belarus, Hungary and Armenia were among the first to receive it.
