Boris will compromise on TWO issues that will INFURIATE Leavers warns Brexiteer

Former Brexit Party MEP Ben Habib admitted he was sceptical Boris Johnson would deliver a Brexit he was satisfied with. While speaking to Julia Hartley-Brewer on TalkRadio, Mr Habib claimed would give in to the EU on two huge issues. Mr Habib said the Prime Minister would compromise on fishing and state aid but still argue his trade deal was brilliant.

Mr Habib said: “We have had four years of this and my trust in the Conservative Party and the Government’s ability to deliver what we might regard as a proper Brexit is pretty low.

“I fear that is going to compromise on both fishing and state aid.”

Mr Habib argued even if the Prime Minister does compromise he will still insist he has made a success of Brexit.

Mr Habib said: “The compromises will be in the form of a fudge that he will be able to champion nevertheless and say it is a fantastic deal.

“It will be hidden in the wording but I think we will compromise on both.

“I think the Prime Minister has already blinked a few times on route to his 15th of October deadline and the EU can sense it.”

Mr Habib also explained his concerns regarding the attitude in which the EU negotiates.

He said: “You have got to remember that for the EU this isn’t about reaching a sensible trading arrangement for the UK.

She said: “The EU may want to do that but the leaders of the German, French and Italian and Spanish economies don’t want that.

“It is simply not in their interests.”

Mr Habib replied: “I think the two heads of the major states in the EU, France and Germany, are firmly committed to the EU project.

“They are backing Barnier and if they were going to blink I don’t think it would be now, it would be in December.”
