My Take: Trump's GOP vs. Biden-Sanders' socialist DNC

Don Bergman’s article titled, “Trump’s GOP: plutocrats, theocrats and racists” is a regurgitation of the left-leaning media’s narrative of fabrication mixed with deception.

Calling all moderate Democrats, independents and Republicans who are considering voting for Biden, please read this before you cast your ballot. After spending hours reading the 110-paged, single-spaced Biden-Sanders “Unity” Task Force manifesto, the platform is socialist, NOT Democratic, and is worse than I thought, and very few journalists are talking about it.

Caveat emptor: Candidate Biden is not who you think he is. Remember candidate Biden, who won the Democratic nomination as the only “moderate” in the race? Socialist agitators like , Elizabeth Warren and the Squad have transformed Biden to the far left. This is what the Democratic Party calls “unity.” Sounds more like a hostile takeover.

The task force’s mission brings socialist recommendations to six key areas: climate change, criminal justice reform, the economy, education, healthcare and immigration. Let us examine Trump vs. Biden on the six key areas:

Climate change

Biden: While the manifesto does not directly identify Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal by name, the recommendations include a very costly initiative that could cost trillions, but, no one (including AOC) know what the true costs would be. Flashbacks of Solyndra should be enough to scare the entire liberal-leaning electorate away from Biden.

Trump: Contrary to AOC’s allegation that the U.S. does not prioritize the environment, the nation’s air has become significantly cleaner under President Trump. Under federal law, the EPA monitors the outdoor concentrations of six major pollutants that are widespread and likely to endanger public health or welfare.

Criminal justice reform

Biden: Candidate Biden is not who you think he is when it comes to criminal justice reform. Cory Booker called out Biden on the debate stage for his sponsorship of the 1994 federal crime bill.

Trump: President Trump’s record is clear when it comes to criminal justice reform implementing The First Step Act of 2018, the most significant, bipartisan criminal justice reform legislation in more than a decade. It has especially benefited minorities.

Economy

Biden: Candidate Biden is not who you think he is when it comes to the economy. After “moderate” Biden adopted Sanders’ and Warren’s leftist rhetoric, he pledged to end the era of “shareholder capitalism” and hand business over to “shareholders” such as government, environmentalists, unions and communities. Biden’s socialist “shareholder capitalism” would imperil the prosperity of all hard-working Americans.

Trump: President Trump promised economic prosperity for all Americans. Through the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, President Trump is unleashing economic growth and jobs. Since his election, the Trump administration’s pro-growth policies have generated 6 million new jobs, the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest point in 50 years, and wages have grown at more than 3 percent. (Editor’s Note: These figures were reported in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic).

Education

Biden: The Biden-Sanders “Unity” manifesto envisions the socialism of an all-encompassing welfare state, with virtually every need a right, such as tuition-free public college for roughly 80 percent of American people, Student loans are expunged, payments are capped and eventually forgiven.

Trump: President Trump made school choice a priority that included $1 billion in funding to Furthering Options of Children to Unlock Success Grants for public school choice and $250 million to promote private school choice through the Education Innovation and Research Program.

Healthcare

Biden: Candidate Biden bought Sanders’ “Medicare for All” scheme.

Trump: President Trump’s achievements on healthcare can be summarized as giving the American citizens more choices, lower premium costs and lifesaving drugs.

Immigration

Biden: Regarding illegal immigration, the platform calls for the repeal of several policies from the Trump administration, including the travel bans on countries deemed by the administration to represent security risks. It also calls for the end to asylum policies that it claims has led to family separations.

Trump: President believes in sound immigration-control policies that benefit all Americans.

Biden is not who you think he is. Transformed by a “hostile” takeover by the radical socialist left of Sanders, Warren and the Squad, Biden has shown that you need to be a “political chameleon” to survive … even if it means going against what is best for the country.

The Biden-Sanders Manifesto is so radical and so dangerous to our personal freedoms. Socialism has not worked in the past and will not work in America.

Voters considering casting their ballot for Biden, are you willing to endanger the economy and your freedom to end the Trump presidency?
